Thank you for your desire to make an impact for Christ in your community. We believe the only effective way to reach people with the life-transforming love of God is to follow the same method Christ used when He walked this earth.

Funding Criteria

The committee will evaluate applications based on the following criteria.

Your plan must meet a specific felt need identified by leaders in your community.
Your plan must be something your church/school is not already doing.
Your plan must place members of your church/school in direct, meaningful contact with the people you are serving.
Your plan must have clear bridges to other events or activities that will help deepen relationships with those you serve.
Your plan should show evidence that you have used available community demographics and other community statistics to focus your request

Reaching people for Christ through community engagement requires planning not just the project, but what comes next and the steps, or bridges, you'll be building to help those you serve get there. (Schools can partner with their churches if they wish.)

Bridge Steps List the bridge steps to the next connecting event you'll be taking in order. Answer "What", "Who", and "How much" for each.

Upper Columbia Conference will participate with the local church/school in up to 70% of the total cost of your project steps and bridge steps.
